Uneven-Looking Tone and Dark Spots
If uneven-looking tone is your main concern, compare the full ingredient combination rather than choosing by a single percentage. TNA5 is made for the appearance of dark spots, uneven-looking tone, and dull-looking skin. VNC15 is made for dull-looking skin and uneven-looking tone.
Two formulas to compare
- TNA5 — Tranexamic Acid 5% Serum with Niacinamide & Arbutin: Tranexamic Acid 5%, Niacinamide 3%, Arbutin 2%. For the appearance of dark spots, uneven-looking tone, and dull-looking skin.
- VNC15 — Vitamin C 15% Serum with Arbutin & Niacinamide: Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 15%, Arbutin 1%, Niacinamide 1%. For the appearance of dull-looking skin and uneven-looking tone.
TNA5 lists Arbutin 2%; VNC15 lists Arbutin 1%. They are different formulas, not interchangeable versions of the same serum. The listed amounts do not establish which formula will work better for you.
If texture or visible redness is also a concern
ANC5 and ANC10 are additional formulas to compare for uneven-looking tone, visible redness, and uneven texture. Do not introduce these alongside another new active serum.
- ANC5 — Azelaic Acid 5% Serum with Niacinamide & Cica: Azelaic Acid 5%, Niacinamide 1%, Centella Asiatica Extract 1%. For the appearance of uneven-looking tone, visible redness, and uneven texture.
- ANC10 — Azelaic Acid 10% Serum with Niacinamide & Cica: Azelaic Acid 10%, Niacinamide 1%, Centella Asiatica Extract 1%. For the appearance of uneven-looking tone, visible redness, and uneven texture.
Build a simple routine
Begin with one selected serum, a moisturizer, and daytime sunscreen. For TNA5 or VNC15, the product instructions say to start once daily and adjust only while skin stays comfortable. Do not expect a guaranteed change or a fixed timeline.
Keep skin comfort first
Try it on a small area of skin before first use. Introduce one new serum at a time and keep the rest of your routine simple. Apply to clean, dry skin, then follow with a moisturizer. Use sunscreen during the daytime. Avoid contact with eyes. If your skin feels uncomfortable, stop using it. Do not use an active serum on irritated or compromised skin.
